I have purchased a used Throttle cable assembly and there are few wires that remain, that I am not sure where they go. All other wires went to there respective locations, and I am left with an Orange and a Red wire. Not sure what it goes to?
Depnding upon whether or not the cable terminates inside the control box, the wires will be run a bit differently but: Red wire always attaches to the "B" or Batt terminal of the switch. It supplies power to accessories and choke. The orange wire is the overheat indicator. It ultimately connects to one lead of the buzzer. At the engine end it attaches to the overheat sensor wire on the terminal strip--- unless the engine is a late model Force which has different colored wires.
It is a late model Force. The cable do terminate at the control box. All other wires are hooked correctly to the motor. These wires in question go to the dash. I am thinking that the Orange is for the buzzer, but not sure what the Red goes. It could go to the power switch.
