    Default force 125 gear lube

    Anyone know how much gear lube 1985 force 125 should take? model # 1258x5a

    On an average most OB lower units take slightly less than a quart. Get a Quart bottle and the pump mechanism. Pump it in through the Lower hole until it reaches the upper hole. If you buy the lower unit oil in the small 9 ounce tubes it tends to be more money. My Johnson 85 takes 27 ounces if that helps.Bob
