crhsyler sea king 4 hp rusty gas tank

my brother was given a 4hp sea king and the tank is rusty. what would be a good way to clean the thin layer of rust in the tank? also what year/model would this engine be here are the numbers i found on the sidemod: vwb52004dser: 28x22894thanks for any info you guys can help me out with.adam

Why do you suppose we have a seperate forum for Sea Kings and other rebranded brands?? Was there ever a Sea King that wasn't made by someone else?? How many Sea King owners think they have a Chrysler??
