Coupler removal - real pain in the butt
Removed my lower unit on my 1994 40hp tonight, in order to replace the impeller. Pretty straightforward, had a little trouble getting the brass retainer off of the driveshaft.
The real pain in the butt was removing the coupler to disconnect the intermediate shift rod. Anybody else have trouble with there being no room to really fit a wrench?
