1994 Force 5 HP, not cooling - HELP!

Newbie here, running out of options for advice. Can't get any help from local dealer.

I've purchased a 1994 5 HP motor, wasn't getting any water out the pee holes.

Replaced the head gasket, has good compression, but still no water and seems to be running hot.

Seems to be very good air flow out pee holes, but air is very hot. If I cover the pee holes it seems like there is a lot of back pressure, so I feel the impeller is working.

Impeller looks to be in good shape, but the housing below the impeller is a little rough.

I've ran coat hanger through accessible tubes. How common are plugs up below the head in the curves of tubing?

Any suggestions on what I should try next or cut losses and buy a new Honda?

Make sure the motor is completly submerged up past the water impeller in your test tank. Muffs do not always work.

Just wanted to post, just in case any others have the same issue. There was a clog in the water line under the block. Full of sand! Running great and cooling now and can't wait to try it out.
