1987 Force 50

I have two questions about my motor. 1) It starts and idles fine but when you give it gas the motor dies. We rebuilt the carburetor but that didn't solve the problem. 2) The power trim isn't working. I can hear the motor click when I hit the switch but nothing more. Thanks in advance for any help with these issues.

I had the same problem with mine, i had to rebuild the fuel pump and i also had 2 broken reeds..

That's what I was going to say, probably one or more of the reeds.
