Default 1985 85hp force fuel question

I am still trying to get this thing running and i now am wondering how to check for fuel?

I squeeze the bulb and fuel come out of the hose that is hooked up to the inlet fitting, but when i check the carb's there is nothing.

What should i be looking for, i took off the housing and made sure it was clean, and there are no tear's in the diaphragm.

I am getting ready to pull my hair out

Take the inlet hose off the carbs and check it again. If you have fuel there then you need to rebuild the carbs.
