150 Force Water Pump

My 150 does not pee water out of the 2 holes while running in forward gear. Only at idle do I see water peeing out. When the boat is cruising I think I can make out water coming from the exaust. Is this right for the water to only pee out at idle? I think it may have been like this since I bought it 3 years ago.

it only does that at idle through those holes, look at this past thread on how you can add a "tell tale" to see that your impeller is infact pumping water, easy and cheap to do and it will pump a stream of water all the time.....as long as your pump is working
