i resently bought a 1990 four winns 225 sundowner it needs work to be how i would like it to be had a tower on it but was removed was going to install a tower for styling but they can be expensive and i would like to know if wakeboarding would be a good use for the boat? or what would be good options ballast, installing trim, or a different boat? i was thinking that a big air vapor tower would be my choice for styling and cost

If your not in a cable park or taking rails and launch ramps should a kid or adult for that matter be wearing a wakeboard helmet. I live in minnesota and wonder if people are starting to wear helmets or is this a marketing gimmick?

i am installing a DIYwake shark fin tower onto my 1996 glastron gs160. I have a question about mounting. I have the side of the boat marked and ready to drill, but behind it is foam. I am making an oversized mounting plate out of plywood. Should i chisel out the foam to lay the ply directly to the underside of the fiberglass? or laying it directly to the foam is ok?

Also, the legs do not mount flush with the gelcoat. I was planning to make some plastic shims to fill in the slope. Best way or can i use some kind of epoxy? thanks for any help.

We have a 2008 wakeboard boat with a tower. We are looking to install Kicker speakers and how hard is it to wire a tower? Any suggestions on an amp?
