Mercury Trolling Motor Switch Wiring Diagram?

Hello, a friend of mine has a Mercury foot control 12v trolling motor that he took apart a year or so ago to replace a switch. I cant find a model no. or even a manual. The wires in question go to the speed switch, and the connectors are labled (B) (H) (M) (L). bat. high, med,low. The switch he replaced has 2 connections, common, and open/normal. there is a yellow-red stripe a black-yellow stripe mess to plug back in, and we dont want to fry the motor. If the motor is a Thruster, maybe this will help. Scroll to the bottom of this page: http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selec...p?type_id=MERC. They have part's list's with some pretty decent drawings. Hope this helps, Mike
