Jensen CPM 405 stereo

I bought this stereo because it has zero memory current draw, my old BOSS drains the battery in 3 days and the battery is good. My question is the BOSS wired remote MR1515W looks exactly like the remote that jensen recommends MWR43. Same buttons whole 9 yards excepte my current remote says BOSS on it and the jensen remote say jensen on it. Will the BOSS remote work with the jensen?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The jensen stereo is model MSR4050G

Found out that it is NOT a good idea to cross remotes even if they look alike, the risk of frying your chip is not worth the risk for what I paid for the stereo. I'll just buy the remote that is recommended. Hope this helps someone else.
