I did not want to hijack the circuit breaker post so I am starting this one. I have a 16' tiller with the bow mount 55/lb troller motor. The gas engine has a fuse between it and the start battery but there is no fuse from there to the 1-2-off switch and then to the front battery. Should there be a fuse / breaker between the 2 batteries?
Thanks, Dodger1234
Gas engines don't normally have a fuse between the switch and the engine.
From the switch to the trolling motor, YES you should have a circuit breaker or fuse within 6 ft of the switch.

Hello Don S.
I can not find an in-line breaker in the iboat store. I was just going to splice in a breaker after my switch on the wire going to the bow battery. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate them.
