Boat In Dash Navigation/ Music Systems???

Hey guys, I have almost fixed all of the electrical components on my project Bayliner, but I have always wondered about installing a Nav/ music system in it. I have seen some car models with the same in dash package that I am talking about (Infinitis, Jaguars, and even some Fords!!) I have seen these in a lot of vehicles, but I think it would be pretty cool to put one in my boat. Do they even make these for boats?? I went to the Pioneer website and I found some really nice ones for around $1100, but I do not want to ruin it since they are probably not waterproof. Does anyone have an in dash Nav/ music system in their boat, or does anyone know a website where they sell these?? I am sure I am not the first person to think of this......am I???

imho, you are better off with separate systems in a boat. i would rather have a Gps, integrated with a vhf, that will send an emergency signal with your coordinates. buy a stereo.
