    Default YaNmar 230

    Looking for fuel burn of 230 yanmar in a 30ft boat. Also any common problems? Thanks Ron

    I have installed a few Yanmars in 30'ers. Depending on the type of hull you have and weight...Ours was a deep V and weighed in around 12,000lbs. Top speed 45kts, cruising at 25kts. I burned around 6 gals per hour....or 4 miles per gal.


    They are a very fine engines with no problems that I know of. What year?
