Any i-boaters attend the Venetian Festival at St. Joe in the past few years? What am I in for taking a 21' Open Bow on the Lake for the fireworks next summer? Appreciate any experience, and comments. Thanks.

We boat out of South Haven and have been to St.Joe many times. With these lakes (great lakes) you just have to pick your days that allow you to boat safely. I always check NOAA marine forcast to make sure. And i dont know how far out you plan on going but make sure you have a marine (vhf) radio. All that aside it's great boating in that area you will enjoy it!

We boat out of St. Joe as often as possible. Live in Ft. Wayne, In. 125 mile trip. Planning to keep the boat in St. Joe next year, relieving the trailering stress on the SUV, and the driver. Inland lakes here are nice but become boring after a LM cruise. Hope to see you there next year. Boat name is "SO DUH!"
