Ocean City Boating Trip -- any destinations?

We're headed to O/C with the boat in a few weeks and will be staying in Ocean Pines.

Any locals want to recommend good restaurants w/ boat access? Are there any places to beach the boat and let the kids play?

Is the backside of Assategue accessible at any points.

I'm considering trailering to Tangier Sound. Are there any "must visits" over there? I'll probably put in near Nanticoke.

There really isn’t much to see at AI or Tangier by boat.

The biting insect populations of both places are legendary. Take the best insect repellent you can afford and enough blood for a transfusion or two.

Yep, Im headed down next weekend and I still have not recovered from last year...............thats the only place I have been in this country that have bugs that are immune to bug spray....they eat you alive...I will never go to assategue again by land or water.
