livewell pump

I bought a used tracker and replaced the livewell pump cause the old one was cracke on what about 500gph I found a heck of deal on an 800 gph pump but am not worried that it won't drain fast enough through the overflow and will spill out of the livewell. There is a spray head that bends 90 degrees to the bottom of the livewell. Since I have a spray will this reduce the water flow to a certain level no mater the size of the pump?????

I think the srpay bar will limit the volume, it will just have more pressure but you won't know until you try it.

The drain shouold be big enough to keep up anyways.
