What happen if the hose connected to the impreller housing got disconnected accidentally? I don't know how long the hose has been disconnected.

No one else replied since you posted this so I'll reply to bump it up and seems like a mod might want to move this to the OMC section so you can get some help in that forum.
The end of that T fitting you have the arrow pointing to broke off and the hose is not connected to anything?
Most times an impeller does not get water for more than a few seconds it starts to rapidly deteriorate and needs to be replaced.

The goal: buy a boat, any boat, and become a BOATER
The result is to: open threads that start with:
My boat is a ________ and I need help with _________
My engine is a ________ and I need help with _________
My outdrive is a ________ and I need help with __________
Saying you haven't bought a boat because you have OCD is a lame excuse
Buying non-OEM: shop here on IBOATS

Edit - its the vent hose. Allows the pump to prime. Doesn't matter if the hose fell off
