Glove box lock unit

My Sea Nymph GLS has a locking storage box or glove box on the passenger side of the helm. I have no key to fit it. Does anyone know where I can buy a lock insert with a push button to open the box door? Or maybe the best thing is to take out the current lock unit and take it to a locksmith and have him make a key? Any ideas?

Ayuh,... Pop it out, 'n take it to yer local Hardware Store...
Most of the Better stores have 'em in stock, 'n on the shelf...

I have the same problem, but my box is stuck closed. (I don't think it's locked, just stuck) Any tips on how to get it open so I can replace the lock?
