    Default Float switch Height

    How high should i mount a float switch ? with mine the water reach 4 inch before the bilge pump comes in .
    1992 regal ambassador 233xl Mercrusier 5.7 alpha 1 out drive.

    You want to mount that switch as close to the lowest point on the hull as possible. I usually get them within a 1/2" of the bottom, if not glued to the bottom.
