The best tip you will ever get it to keep the boat out of the direct sun.
Your gel coat will love you and your upholstery will blow you kisses.
You can polish and wax fiberglass until your blue in the face.....but the sun will beat back any progress you make in short order.
To get that shiney shine, try the products put out by Collonite.
Start with the fiberglass cleaner and followup that with the Fleet Wax product.
Google Collonite and order some.
Collinite is great wax, and great protection, but if the glass is already faded it's gonna take polishing compound, and or water sanding to bring it back.
Ayuh,... Paint it....Quote:

Try wet sanding with 600 grit, then 800 grit..followed by a buffing compound, polish and wax.
Have a look through this thread..He did an amazing job at bringing back a heavily oxidized red gel coat.

Wet sand, rubbing compond, wax and polish. Elbow grease rquired...
What about using a Clay Bar?
I'm not suggesting just asking.
I had never used one before and bought a 98 Envoy and used it to smooth out the surface and it worked great.
A clay bar is used to remove contaminates from the surface, wet sanding is used to sand through the damaged gel cote, to fresh stuff below.
A clay bar would be cheap and easy to try, but I think most boats are past the clay bar stage and into the cut and buff stage.
