Adjustable Pedestal (Taper-Lock or Kingpin Adaptor)

I have a 16' Tracker DV and I wanted to install a stand-up seat. I currently have Taper-Lock fixed position pedestals and seats. I can either purchase a Taper-Lock Adjustable Pedestal or purchase a Taper-Lock King Pin Adaptor and use a Kingpin Power Rise Adjustable Pedestal. I'm trying to determine which would be the better option. Has anyone used the Taper-Lock Adjustable Pedestal? Has anyone used the Taper-Lock Adaptor with the Kingpin Adjustable Pedestal? I didn't know if there would be any wobbling or how much abuse the Taper-Lock Adaptor could take. On the other hand, the Taper-Lock pedestals are sometimes very hard to remove from the base. Thanks for your help.
