    Fuel tank size is 17" x7.5" X 24" what is the formula for converting to gallon capacity?

    One gallon = 0.1337 cubic feet or 231 cubic inchesYour tank is 3060 cubic inches divided by 231 would equal 13.24 gallons. I would treat and fill the tank as a 12 gallon tank and allow room for exspansion. Bob
