Default what should the compression be for a 1987 Force 85 hp

Hi,what should the compression be on a 1987 Force 85 hp? also i am having problems with # 2 firing, the dumb thing about it is i put new plugs in and it wont fire on the end of the plug but will fire when i hold it next to the block,so i bout 3 more new plugs and none of them will fire,so i tried the old ones and found one that it will show spark at the tip of the plug with a bolt in the end of the plug wire .none of the new ones will show spark this wat and wont fire, the old plug the motor fires on it,,,,any suggestions
