Pedestal Bases and Posts

My old 1982 Lowe bass boat has the original pedestal bases and posts that do not lock in. Last weekend I finally lost on of my seats with its seat base because of it's inability to lock down. I live in an area that has little or no boat supply dealers so must order everything on line without being able to look at or try what I am going to get. I was thinking of ordering the Springfield Spring Lock system, and was wondering if any of you had any experience with these, you would be willing to share.
