I am considering pulling out my carpet in my bow rider and replacing it with a non-skid paint like Durabak, Grizzly Grip, or Evercoat. I still have to decide what specific product to use. If I (or my wife) later decide that I/we prefer a carpet floor, can I still glue down carpet on top of the non-skid surface? I canÂ’t imagine that I would want to go back to carpet, and I canÂ’t see any reason why carpet canÂ’t be glued to a non-skid surface, but I want to make sure I am not overlooking anything that takes away future options. Opinions please.
i dont know why you could not cause you sure wont get the no skid surface off.whats the surface under carpet? i dont know how the non skid surface sticks to fiberglass .ive sprayed bed liners with several types of non skid i will tell ya its messy so cover up the boat and garage floor and what ever else you like cause that sh-- goes everywhere.
