Need Manuals 1979 26' Sea Ray 260 Weekender IO has 2 165 mercruiser motors

Need to find and buy the manual / manuals for our newly purchased 1979 26' Sea Ray 260 Weekender IO. It has 2 165 mercruiser motors. We need any and everything about this boat so we can get her in great shape and put her in the water (ocean ) before we are too old LOL! This will probibly be our last boat so this is real important to us. Thanks Don & Diane HB OC CA

There's probably No way you'll find an Owner's Manual for the boat,... It's 30 Years old...
But,...
For the Motors,+ Drives,...
Over in the Motors- I/O forum,.. There's a sticky at the top titled "Adults Only" section..
The factory Manuals for the Motors,+ Drives can be found There...

good morning-
you will want to look at the sea ray site. look under archieve, I found both a general boat overview for my 85 270da as well there was a factory ad for the the boat including layout and options. Look on ebay as well for the factory manuals that came with the boat.

You definitely want the engine and drive manuals. Just about any "how to go boating" book will be better than the original owners manual.
