Help identify 1970's era 14' alumacraft.

I bought a 14' supposedly alumacraft boat yesterday, and I would like some help identifying the age and value of the boat. There are several coats of what appears to be latex house paint on the boat, so until that comes off, finding numbers on the boat looks to be very difficult. There is a tag on the transom that says: "Chall. 680840 Weight capacity 870 lbs."

Also, the boat is 14'3" long and 60" wide at the broadest point.
