Custom gear box

Well I just bought a 1988 21' starcraft center console with a 88 special on the back. Upgraded from my 16' starcraft and now I'm looking for ways to store my fishing gear. When I bring my friends they all bring their fishing boxes and it covers the boat and now we don't have walking room. Has anyone made a gear box to be hidden and allow walking room. I have a 6" or 8" x 3' x 2' size storage area in the back and was thinking about making pull out drawers on rollers. Anyone have any different approaches.

Are you looking for something like this? http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cgi...1&view_id=4259 I was thinking about the same thing..but wanted to do it myself..I figure...go buy a bunch of Plano storage boxes (like the ones shown) and build a compartment with little runners to slide them into. You can keep it simple by using a bungee cord or rope instead of the door. -JMW

i think the door is a good idea, about 10 minutes in a good chop and that tackle will be all over the deck.
