Patriot take a look at www.theclassicboathouse.com Theres a great set of galleries over there for just about any type of boat . I would say it looks 60's vintage to me but it is possible the owner registered it as a homebuilt in the mid 80's .

I'm going to check it out in the morning. The owner said it's always been covered and has NO rot(we'll see!)and comes with a bimini top(NIB i believe). If all is well,i'm going to offer $200-.I just wish i could find more Crosby info!
I havent dug up much on them myself and it is possible its newer as he says but it sure looks alot like a 60's era boat and I have 2 of them myself ( not Crosby's ) just 60's boats.

It's definately not 80's. I agree with 60's or 70's. Just the style of the boat and the round windshield. But hey, for 300 bones, who cares.
As in people, there comes a time in your life when you realize what boat will always matter, what boat does matter, & what boat never did. So don't worry about the boats from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future. .
