    Default removing steering wheel

I have a 1983 bayliner 2150 cuddy cabin. I am trying to remove my old steering wheel to replace it with a new one.

I removed the center hub cove. Unscrewed the 2 side nuts and bolts, removed the center lug nut.....and i can't pull the old sterring wheel off. am i missing anything? do you just pull harder? HELP!!

    thanks john

It's probably like an automotive steering wheel...Use a steering wheel puller, or you could try pulling hard on the wheel while someone else taps on the shaft with a hammer..
