1997 Bayliner 1950 Capri Prop?

Does anyone know what the stock prop is for a 1997 Bayliner 1950 with a 3.0LX engine and an alpha 1 outdrive? I searched through the props section and thought it had a 19" pitch but when I went to the boat store today they told me the boat has a 21" pitch. I can't check my boat - it is up at my cabin 300 miles away. I am going up this weekend with a new prop, but I want to make sure I have the correct one. (I just want a stock prop) Thanks for any help. Frank

The parts manual for your bayliner should be on Bayliner's website. Look-up your engine pkg and it will usually list stock prop. Sometimes the drives will have a different ratio, so it is not 100%.

I use a 19p prop now. Earlier in the year I had a 21.

I think next year I will put the 21 back on. The accelaration with the 19 is awesome, but it will over rev very fast and you need to back off the throttle.

the 21 is tough with a full boat, but with 4-5 ppl it is perfect.
