Alarm on '94 Alumacraft Trophy 170

Does anybody know what would cause a '94 Alumacraft Trophy 170 to emit a loud alarm type sound from under the dash? I don't have the manual and can see no reason for this sound. Sometimes, but not always, the sound disappears by stopping and re-starting the motor. Otherwise, it eventually disappears on its own. Ideas?

My guess it's a low water pressure alarm. A new water pump kit or impeller would be needed for the motor. It's a most common item that gets replaced from use or age.
